He may take time to come out of his shell, but the wait is so worth it – once Edgar trusts you, he will love you with his whole heart. This sweet teddy bear is simply one of a kind. Edgar may be a gentle giant, but he’s still a big, strong boy who would be better in a family with older kids. He absolutely loves his walks and being outside, followed by a good snooze in a sunny spot.Įdgar’s ideal home is calm and consistent, with a doggie sibling who can be his BFF – he would love a yard for the two of them to play in! Edgar is a great WFH buddy, and while he’s fine being left in his crate for a few hours, definitely prefers to have his humans around. He loves his humans, but when he’s with other dogs, stand back and watch his tail wag! He’s the perfect guy for the dog park, play dates and daycare he plays well with everyone, is not reactive or aggressive, is never too rough, but can hold his own. While extremely timid in new situations, once Edgar feels safe and opens up, he thrives on social interaction.

He’s the dog other doggie parents want their pups to play with (and be like!) and has quickly become the Mayor of his local dog park.Įdgar is the whole package – low-medium energy, house-trained, crate-trained, generally very well-behaved, kid-friendly, dog/cat-friendly, no prey drive, doesn’t slobber, has absolutely no aggression and rarely barks. He may come from humble beginnings, but this sweet guy is somehow just naturally well-mannered, polite and gracious.
